Research shows that reading books and sharing stories with your child is one of the best ways to help them enter school with the language skills they need to be ready to learn and grow. You can pick up a log in the children’s area (or download and print one here!) or keep track on your own. Then just start reading – no need to write down book titles. You can check-in online with us via the form below, or bring your log into the library (we will give your child a sticker for every hundred books read). When you reach 1000 books, your child will receive a certificate and a prize. Stop in the Children’s Library to find your child’s name on our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Progress Wall.
