New Books for Kids!
Welcome to Youth Services!
We are so glad you are using the library with your child. The Youth Services collection offers books for all ages – from board books for infants to research materials for students. We also host a large number of classes and events for all ages every month – from Books and Babies to our Teen Advisory Board.
Please note: most of our classes/events require advance registration (which you can easily do through our calendar). Many classes/events are offered for specific age groups. Please read each program description carefully to ensure your child is the correct age.
Attendance Policy: Our classes/events can be quite popular and registrations fill quickly (with some children on a waiting list). Please only register for an event if you are able to attend, and contact the library as early as possible if you need to cancel your registration. The library reserves the right to limit future registrations for any “no-shows.”
On the day of your class/event, please arrive 10 minutes prior to the listed class time to check in with library staff. Any seats which are not claimed by the start of class time may be given to walk-ins/wait list.
Do you have a suggestion for a program at Lower Macungie Library? Let us know your thoughts by filling out the form below, and we will routinely review patron input when considering new library programming.
