Unearth a Story @ the Library!
This summer, get rewarded for reading this summer! Stop by the library and register for our Summer Reading to earn prizes all summer long! Our Summer Reading runs from June 13 to August 15 and is open to children above the age of 2 and up to age 17.
Here’s how you participate:
Step 1: Have a library card.
Step 2: Stop by the library to register for summer reading in-person.
Step 3: Get a goodie bag full of freebies, including your summer reading log.
Step 4: Bring the reading log back on your next visit to the library to claim a free prize!
Repeat Step 4 ALL summer long to keep getting free prizes! We’ll have a treasure chest filled with fun little prizes to earn!
*Prize claiming will not be available starting 30 minutes before closing. We have limited staff during closing and all staff have to follow multiple closing procedures and it is difficult to complete these procedures while assisting patrons with Summer Reading questions and prize redemptions. You are more than welcome to arrive anytime throughout the week at least an hour before closing to be guaranteed to redeem prizes.
LML will have plenty of programs for all ages—from Storytimes to a K-Pop Demon Hunter Party! There’s something for everyone!
If there are any questions about Summer Reading, please email Miss Julia, Youth Services Director. For a full listing and descriptions of upcoming programs, please visit our Events Calendar.
DATES TO REMEMBER
The final day to stop by the library with your Summer Reading log is August 15. No prizes will be awarded after this date. Be sure to bring your Summer Reading log back BEFORE AUGUST 15 to get all of your prizes.
