The Library Needs YOUR Help! Join our Volunteer Staff and Make a Difference!
Library volunteers play an important role as partners in the Library’s mission of connecting people to the world of ideas and information.
If you would like to help our staff work with materials in the collection, or simply work with others who love books, we have some rewarding opportunities that might suit you! We’re looking for people willing to donate just a few hours of their time on an ongoing basis. The Library does not accept volunteers through any court-ordered programs. We accept High School students (East Penn School District) age 14 and older.
Volunteer opportunities may include the following: shelver (getting the checked-in materials back into their places), shelf reader (making certain our collection is in the correct order) and filing or pulling information cards and other various tasks. We also are in need of a number of people to help with our semi-annual Book Sales.
For more information about becoming a volunteer, please call 610-966-6864 or fill out the Volunteer Application Form and return to the library.
By becoming a volunteer you are making a valuable contribution to your community. Share your talents and skills and make a difference today!
